Hepatitis is an inflammatory disease of the liver, which is caused by a viral infection or a toxic infection. There are five types of hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), hepatitis A and E are usually caused by contaminated water and poor diet. Hepatitis B, C, and D are caused by the transfusion of infected body fluids, particularly blood, from one body to another. According to medical experts, this disease can be transmitted from mother to child during birth. This virus is also spread by using an infected patient's toothbrush and using an infected patient's nail cutter. Avoid over-shaving, as barber's razors and equipment are usually not sterilized and the razors used are contaminated, which can lead to any serious blood-borne diseases. While among the major causes of hepatitis in women, the role of beauty parlor and poor make-up is important. Used syringes are also a major cause of spreading hepatitis. Hepatitis B is also transmitted through sexual intercourse. But hepatitis B and C are not communicable diseases, so it is not spread by shaking hands, coughing or sneezing, or sharing food and drink. Medical experts say that the devastation of the hepatitis virus is unfolding in Pakistan, so parents must give the child a protective vaccine against hepatitis B after birth. Experts also say that the biggest risk in the spread of this liver disease is patients who are not aware of their disease and they transfer it to other people. In the case of the last stage of hepatitis disease or in the case of excess of this disease, there is no other option except liver transplant or transplantation.
