Life and creativity are one and the same in my reality. What is life, but something we create? We can do it consciously or unconsciously, but everything we have and everything we are, have manifested from nothing. Life and death. Birth and decay. Change is the natural order of life. And what is more changeable than our creativity? I have always found life flows best and delivers its most significant rewards when we embrace both our creativity and the waves of change. To do this, it helps to acknowledge our creative selves have multiple identities: 🔴 The external creative - is what we create and show to the outside world. This could be validated by others or not, but it exists in tangible form. 🟠The external and private - what we create but keep to ourselves, whether that is a fear-based choice or a deeply personal one. 🔵 And the internal creative - they daydream and explore possibilities in mind. The who plots and develops stories before they take action. However, your creative self looks to this point - whatever balance you have of external and validated creativity, external and frustrated creativity, or internal and full of possibility... or insecurity - I know one thing that is absolutely true. You have no understanding of what is still possible. Finished a book or not finished a book. Got a publishing contract or still pitching? Wanting to write 8 you are right now is not the final destination. And what tomorrow looks like, or next week, or even next year, it's all up for grabs. Nothing is locked in. Nothing is certain. So create and expect the unexpected. Create for yourself. Because it is who you are, and who you want to be. Create a life you are proud to call your own, and the rest will take care of itself. Have a fantastic day.
